Evaluation for 'Thinkers'

As I go on about a lot, academia is regarded high in my influences within design, and thoroughly enjoying the critical studies aspect of the course I thought it only appropriate to document those who I admire, whether agreeing or disagreeing with them. I think it is important to study Philisphy because the lives people lead and the choices they make are the result of the philosophies they hold, whether they are conscious of this fact or not. The ideas people live and die for, go to war for and kill each other for, or let themselves be inspired to the making of great art or science, are all philosophical ideas.

This brief also started as part of my zine brief, but since that brief was supposed to be a more lighthearted look into my interests I thought that I should again delegate a separate brief to this one. As with all of my briefs, I had originally only produced publications and so this one extended into a government initiative. I wanted to make more publications, as it stands I have only represented two people; Adorno and Freud, and if I had more money and time I would have preferred to have at least 10 people represented. It has been difficult for me to turn my work into ranges as my statement of intent reads publications only. It has been extremely beneficial for me to consider a range due to the course structure because it has meant that in interview situations I can extend upon m
