I've started to design a few things, I'll post them soon.. but I thought I'd give an update of where I am up to at the moment; I'm generally worrying, a lot, so that's probably a good sign that work is about to progress soon. I feel as if there's a lot of little things going on that need to be sorted out before I carry on with other things, I have written my second dissertation draft and I am waiting for feedback on that, I have my final tutorial on Friday and then I'm looking at getting it ready to be sent for binding on Monday. I am still waiting on replies for my packages; I have one which turned out to be very good and now I am in correspondence with Marcroy Smith which is brilliant because he is someone I admire. Perhaps I should choose a time, not now, to email and follow up the rest of those packages. Yes.
My statement of intent is very nearly there, I just need to add a few bits and bobs ready to submit it tomorrow, originally when I was sorting out my presentation for tomorrow I was a bit irritated, firstly because I had left it until the last minute, and secondly because I wasn't sure about whether it was going to be a good time/I hate presentations. However mapping out my chapter structure has given me a clear idea of where I need to research and who I need to get into contact with asap.
In terms of design presence I need to design my stationary and re print some business cards, I also need to have something printed ready to send to Rob from Eye Bodega and Marcroy... by the weekend as I am going home.
After the feedback and the presentations tomorrow I am going to map out my time so that I know where I need to be after reading week, which is most certainly having a lot of printed things. I am not planning on going home for reading week as I think it will be a good time to screen print a lot of things I've been meaning to screen print, I'm hoping it will be less busier than usual.
Fine Art decided on a concept and so we can go ahead with the design direction on that, and we are having a yearbook meeting tomorrow with Lorenzo to see where we are up to and to clarify any concerns.
